Mr. and Mrs. Earlrae Nealey of Gilbertown, Ala., announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Lynn, to Jason Cole Floyd, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert McIlwain of Silas, Ala.
The wedding will be Saturday, July 19, 2003, at Gilbertown Baptist Church.
Miss Nealey is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Trice Edgar of Gilbertown, and Bibb Nealey of Gilbertown and the late Ollie Pearl Nealey.
The bride-elect is in her fourth year in the doctor of pharmacy program at Auburn University.
Mr. Floyd is the grandson of the late Mack and Bessie Singleton, Bett Plemmons and the late Sonny Floyd, all of Chatom.
Mr. Cole is a manager at Academy Sports and Outdoors.
