Services for G.W. Parker will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Hight Assembly of God, with the Revs. Mike Boles and Oneal Parker officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with McClain-Hayes Funeral Service in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Parker, 78, of Collinsville died Thursday, June 26, 2003 at Rush Foundation Hospital. He was a native and longtime resident of Noxapater. He was retired from the Noxapater Police Dept. and was a retired farmer and cattle rancher. He was of the Assembly of God faith.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Ladell Parker and Dalvin Kendall Parker, both of Collinsville; six grandchildren, Wade Parker, Nathaniel Parker, Ken Parker, Jr., Alisha Parker, Daniel Parker and Ciara Parker, all of Collinsville; three great-grandchildren, Blaine Parker, John Luke Parker and Tanner Parker, all of Collinsville; a sister, Geneva Smith of Baltimore, Md.; a brother, Billy H. Parker, of Florence; numerous nieces and nephews; and a former wife and friend, Vivian Parker Lowe of Mobile, Ala.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
SEBATOPOL Services for Fommie Thompson will be held Sunday at 11 a.m. at Bogue Chitto Baptist Church in Neshoba County, with the Rev. Charles Doby Henry officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Milling Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Thompson, 80, of Philadelphia, died Thursday, June 26, 2003 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include a son, Charles Thompson of Augusta, Ga.; 11 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sally Mae.
Visitation will be held today at 9:30 a.m. at the church.
ALTADENA, Calf. Services for Dorothy Tooles Bohannon will be held Wednesday at First United Methodist Church in Pasadena, Calf.
Mrs. Tooles, of Altadena, died Monday, June 23, 2003 at her home. She was born in Meridian, Miss. and attended St. Joseph Catholic School. After graduation, she attended Columbus Hospital School of Nursing in Chicago and became a registered nurse. She moved to California in December, 1961.
Survivors include her husband, Charles W. Bohannon; two sons, Winston Bohannon and his wife, Phyllis of Los Angeles and Courtney W. Bohannon and his wife, Sonya of Jackson, Miss.; three grandsons, Alexander, Nicholas and Caleb Bohannon; two granddaughters, Destinee and Camille Bohannon; godchildren, Marian Grider-Wallace, Wendell Bohannon, Monique Willis and Mesha R. Bowie; cousins, Lillie Mae Pickens of San Fransico and Exell Allen of Detroit; special friends, Lucille Arden and Stephanie "Stevie" Broz of Chicago; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Louise Everett and Willie Tooles.

Arrangements were incomplete at Barham Funeral Home for Iva B. "Pat" Thomas, 82, of Meridian, who died Thursday, June 26, 2003 at Specialty Hospital of Meridian.
Arrangements were incomplete at Webb Funeral Home for Arline Myers, 80, of Meridian, who died Wednesday, June 25, 2003 at her residence.
