Services for Exa Roberson Kelly will be held today at 2 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Leslie Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Kelly, 93, of Marion, died Thursday, June 5, 2003, at Guardian Angel Hospice.
Survivors include her son, Charles "Buster" Robinson of Waynesboro; two daughters, Norma Jean Johnson of Meridian, Janice Lee of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren, Larry Burcham, Veronica Leigh, Beverly Turk and her husband, Carl, Peggy Kasper and her husband, Allan, Joseph Oliver and his wife, Tonya, Richard Oliver and his wife, Charolette, all of Meridian, Connie Lacy and her husband, Bob, Cathy Willis and her husband, Tony, Debbie Cisco and her husband, Mike, Charles Robinson, Jerry Robinson, Mike Robinson and Ronnie Robinson, all of Texas and Judy Mosley and her husband, Joe, Penny and her husband, Randall of Quitman; 24 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dessmer Burns of Mobile, Ala. and Lennie McClendon of Laurel; and the staff of Guardian Angel Hospice.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Odell Robinson, two daughters, Earnestine Oliver and Doris Russell.
Visitation will be today from 1p.m. – 2p.m. at the funeral home.
QUITMAN Services for Juanice K. Smith will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Rolling Creek Baptist Church with the Revs. John Edwards, Clay Chancelor and Buddy Petty officiating. Burial will be in Rolling Creek Cemetery. Wright's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Smith, 75, of Stonewall, died Friday, June 6, 2003, at Meridian Community Living Center in Meridian.
Survivors include her husband, Garner Smith of Stonewall; a son, Perry Smith of Stonewall; daughters, Brenda Kufel of Quitman and Barbara Tyrrell of Millington, Tenn.; brothers, Thelus Kelly of Stonewall and Elton Kelly of Gulfport; a sister, Marie Broussard of Stonewall and 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bubert Kelly and Cassie Dearman.
Visitation will be today after 5 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service Sunday at the church.
UNION Services for Sadie Fulton will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Hebron Baptist Church in Little Rock with the Revs. Roger Laird and James McMillan officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Fulton, 69, of Little Rock, died Friday, June 6, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her husband, James Arnold Fulton of Little Rock; a daughter, Cindy Alexander and her husband, George, of Little Rock and four grandchildren and several friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton and Blanche Eshee and a daughter, Lynda Fulton.
Visitation will be today from 6 p.m-8 p.m. at the funeral home and Sunday from 12:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m. at the funeral home and from 2 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. at the church.
Services for Jennifer Long will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church with the Rev. Jerry Daniels officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Miss Long, 27, of Meridian, died Friday, June 6, 2003 in Birmingham, Ala.
Survivors include her parents, Carol Ann and Frank Long of Meridian; two uncles, Michael Carson of Meridian and Donald Carson and his wife, Susan, of Gulfport; two aunts, Louise C. Ivey and her husband, Gene, and Donna Carson all of Meridian; a great aunt, Jo Bullock of Meridian; and eight cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Jane and Joe Carson and her paternal grandparents, Frank T. Long Sr., and Frances E. Long.
The family requests memorials be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church, the American Cancer Society, the National Kidney Foundation or a favorite charity.
Visitation will be Sunday from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Prayer service will begin at 7 p.m.
Services for Elnora Nanny Doot Samuels will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at East Mt. Moriah Baptist Church with the Rev. Randall Bohanon officiating. Burial will be in Barkers Cemetery in Marion. James L. Osby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Samuels, 84, died Wednesday, June 4, 2003, at Riley Hospital.
Survivors include a son, Jessie Meredith and his wife, Alyce; six grandchildren, Rhonda of Maywood, Ill., Jessie and his wife, Joyce, of Lombard, Ill., Ernest and his wife, Ann, of Odessa, Fla., Lonnie and his wife, Tonjua of Westchester, Ill., The Rev. Bruce and his wife, Vicki, of Berkeley, Ill., and Cedric of Atlanta; seven great-grandchildren; and several cousins.
Visitation will be Sunday from 7 p.m.-8 p.m. at E.E. McDonald Community Chapel.
HARVEY, La. Services for Barbara Jo Haygood will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Mothe Funeral Homes Chapel. Burial will be private.
Mrs. Haygood, 61, of Montgomery, Ala., formerly of Meridian, died Tuesday, June 3, 2003, at Methodist Hospital in New Orleans.
Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Donald T. Haygood Sr.; children, Michael "Mike" Haygood and his fianc Kim Stack, of Meridian, Sonya Haygood of Jefferson City, Mo., Donald T. Jr., and his wife, Angie, of Anderson, Ind., Peggy Haygood and her fianc Richard Boyd, of Newton, and Shane Haygood and his wife, Candace, of Lauderdale; nine grandchildren; father, Harry Burich of Charlotte, N.C. and several nieces, nephews, brothers, sisters-in-law and friends.
Visitation will be Monday beginning at 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
