Sparks, Grenfell

Mr. and Mrs. James Olin Sparks of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Caroline Elizabeth, to Matthew Hopkins Grenfell, son of Dr. and Mrs. Raymond Frederic Grenfell Jr. of Jackson.
The wedding will be Saturday, May 31, 2003, at 6 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Jackson.
Miss Sparks is the granddaughter of Sue Halsey of Lafayette, La., the late Richard Weifenbach of Jackson, and Dorothy Sparks of Meridian.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Jackson Preparatory School and will graduate in May from the University of Mississippi with a degree in elementary education.
While at Ole Miss, she has been a member of Delta Delta Delta and a class favorite. She was selected to Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities.
Mr. Grenfell is a graduate of Jackson Preparatory School and received a degree in international business from the University of Mississippi.
While at Ole Miss, he was the vice-president of the senior class and a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity and Phi Kappa Phi Honorary Society. He is currently in his first year at the University of Mississippi School of Law.
