Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Lloyd Germany of Union announce the engagement of their daughter, Carmen Lorraine, to Ronald Eric Easley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Easley of Calhoun City.
The wedding will be Saturday, May 31, 2003, at 2 p.m. at Bluff Springs Church of God in Union.
Miss Germany is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Horton of Union, and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Germany of Decatur.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Union High School and received a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Mississippi State University.
While at MSU, she was a member of Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society, Golden Key Honor Society and was a president's and dean's list scholar.
Miss Germany is employed by the Tupelo Public School District as a kindergarten teacher at Rankin Elementary School.
Mr. Easley is the grandson of Syble Coker of Calhoun City and the late Harold E. Coker, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Easley of Vardaman.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Vardaman High School and received a bachelor's degree in agronomy/golf and sports turf management.
While at MSU, he was a president's and dean's list scholar.
Mr. Easley is employed by the Tunica National Golf and Tennis Club in Tunica as assistant golf course superintendent.
A reception will be in the church fellowship hall following the ceremony.
Family and friends are invited to attend.
