Man charged with armed robbery

The Meridian Police Department has charged a 22-year-old man with armed robbery.
Demetrius S. Tell, 2252 44th Ave., was being held in the county jail on Friday night after being arrested earlier in the day. Tell's bond is set at $50,000.
Meridian police spokesman Dean Harper said that no information about the case would be made available until Monday.
