Red Bay 4 Phil Campbell 1

The Red Bay Tigers beat the Bobcats 4-1 earlier in the week.

In a game where hits were few and far between, Red Bay made the most of its three with two home runs by Jaxson Swann and Riley Carpenter. It was enough to win the game as the Bobcats couldn’t generate enough offense to overcome those long balls.

Phil Campbell’s Raper had two hits and scored the Bobcats only run.

Red Bay 14 Lexington 1

Landyn Lewey pitched a two hitter, and shut down the Lexington Golden Bears 14-1 on Saturday. Lewey struck out six.

Red Bay scored its 14 runs on 12 hits. Leading the way from the top of the lineup was Jeremiah Thorne with three hits, including a double, four RBI and two runs scored.

The middle of the lineup had some pop too as Aiden Pruitt had two singles, a double, two RBIs and scored a run. Carson McGee singled, doubled, had two RBIs and scored twice.

Landon Petree got the win allowing just two hits and striking out six.

Red Bay 7 Wilson 3

Red Bay beat Wilson 7-3 in its second game of the day on Saturday.

The Tigers sent four different pitchers to the mound in the game with Pruitt getting the win.

Davo Colburn had a big day at the plate with a home run, two singles, three RBIs and a run scored. Carpenter had two singles, a double and scored twice.

Tharptown 23 Cherokee 2

Christopher Fretwell had a huge day at the plate to lead the Tharptown Wildcats to a 23-2 win over Cherokee.

Fretwell had two singles, a double, five RBIs and scored three runs to lead the Wildcats.

Tharptown sent five pitchers to the mound with Randy Holliman getting the win.
