East Franklin Junior High holds fall festival

East Franklin Junior High holds fall festival

PHIL CAMPBELL — East Franklin Junior High celebrated fall with its annual fall festival. Activities included games, food, fun and prizes.

Freshman Eli Baker said he enjoyed all the games, especially having a bigger selection than in past years.

“I look forward to new games and getting to have fun with all my friends,” Baker said. “What I most look forward to is playing Bingo and basketball.”

For eighth grader Aaron Stowe, the games he looks forward to the most are free throw and cornhole.

“I always look forward to seeing people from the community come out to hang around and have fun,” he said. “My favorite memory from this year’s fall festival was seeing my friends joke around with each other when they would mess up or do bad at a game.”

Stowe said the events he most looks forward to at the fall festival are the cakewalk, Bingo and free throws.

Fellow eighth grader William Eli Turbyfill said what he looks forward to is enjoying the atmosphere and getting to see and hang out with his friends.

“I mostly look forward to playing all the fun games and getting tickets,” Stowe added. “My favorite memory was winning Bingo twice in a row, and I also enjoyed doing the cake walk.”
