Charles Edmon Forman

Sept. 1, 2024

After a lengthy and courageous fight with cancer, Charles Edmon Forman, 85, lost that battle Sept. 1 in Fort Worth, Texas. Born April 26, 1939, he is survived by his wife, Jane Wages Forman; daughter and son-in-law, Laurie and Mike Taylor; his son and daughter-in-law, Ed and Brenda Forman; and his son and daughter-in-law, Wages and Jennifer Forman. He was also the proud grandfather of Abby Taylor Minde (husband Josh Minde), Cody and Jake Forman and Avery, Anna and Allie Forman.

Charles was from Talladega, Ala., and is preceded in death by his mother, Lucille Fields Forman; his father ,Edmon Bishop Forman; his brother, Lewis Forman; and his sister, Martha Gail Khourey.

Charles graduated with an engineering degree from the University of Alabama, and if you spent much time around him, he was a huge fan of the Tide. His last day on Earth was spent with family, eating chocolate cake for Jane’s birthday and watching the Tide win again. In his passing, we continue to learn about the impact he had on so many people in his life.

He donated his body to UTSW (University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center) for continued neurology and oncology research. In lieu of flowers, the family is honoring his wishes with an opportunity to donate to the departmental research and doctor that prolonged his life once he moved to Texas.

For your convenience, the link is included. The family is gathering Sept. 14 to celebrate his life in Southlake, Texas, at his son’s home.
