Belgreen Elementary holds Christmas program

Belgreen Elementary students heralded the holiday season Dec. 18 with the Pre-K through fourth-grade Christmas program titled Help Wanted! Love, Santa!

During the program Santa looks for someone to help him make and deliver toys to all the good boys and girls around the world. The cast included Christmas sharks, elves, toy soldiers, pajama girls, dolls, Christmas presents, dancing Christmas trees, penguins, gingerbread men, snowmen, reindeer, reindeer hunters, the Grinch and Mr. and Mrs. Claus.

The production was a musical extravaganza with dance numbers by each group, directed by Susan Crittenden.

Cookies with Santa, sponsored by the Belgreen PTO, followed the production and included a gift basket auction, cookies and hot cocoa or cider for all.
