Editor’s note: Federal closure delays newspaper delivery

All federal offices, including the U.S. Postal Service, are closed Wednesday for an official day of mourning for former-president George H.W. Bush. As a result, there will be no delivery of the Franklin County Times to subscribers via the mail Wednesday.

Single copies of the Wednesday edition will be delivered as normal to racks and stores, and the Wednesday print edition of Franklin County Times will be delivered to subscribers Thursday.

We apologize for the inconvenience of delayed delivery, and appreciate our subscribers’ understanding.
