Check out our visitors guide

We want to make sure you noticed the extra publication slipped inside last week’s edition of the Franklin County Times: our Visitors & Newcomers Guide.

Previously called A Place to Grow, this publication is an annual special edition we produce to provide a comprehensive compendium of all the wonderful assets we have in Franklin County – a resource for tourists, new neighbors and even long-time residents to use and enjoy. With assistance from the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce as well as contributions from numerous groups in Franklin County, we have made every effort to create a product we think you’ll enjoy and in which you’ll take pride.

This is the fourth year we have produced this handy directory, and we hope you’ll take the time to flip through it and help us celebrate everything Franklin County has to offer.

We love spotlighting the industries and businesses from Red Bay to Russellville to Phil Campbell and everywhere in between. We prize Franklin County and Russellville city schools and our police and fire departments, and we cherish our festivals, our tourist destinations and our places to learn, grow and explore in Franklin County.

Have a guest coming to visit? Pick up a copy to share with them. Know of a new family in your neighborhood? Bring a copy along when you stop by to introduce yourself. This publication is designed to be an ideal resource to welcome people to our corner of the state and give them an overview of everything these is to love about Franklin County.

We hope this Visitors & Newcomers Guide will be a helpful tool to highlight Franklin County.
