Halloween costumes aren’t just for children, and as it turns out, they’re not just for people. Rock Bridge Canyon Equestrian Park will host a horse and rider costume contest Oct. 30 at the park.
Tina Lawler, events coordinator for RBCEP, said the event was a hit last year.
“It was unbelievable, the elaborate costumes,” Lawler said.
Cost to enter is $10, and the prize is 50 percent payback of proceeds.
Sign-ups for the contest beginning at 5 p.m., and the contest and judging will begin at 6 p.m.
