Eric Hill and Scott Godsey have helped take watering the flowers to the next level.

The Cultura Garden Club puts hours of sweat equity into Russellville, watering the plants and flower downtown to help keep the city beautiful. Now, that job will be a little easier, with help from a massive watering container.

Water department employees Eric Hill and Scott Godsey, with permission from superintendent Doug Clement, created a 50-gallon container, complete with a pump motor and a 25-foot hose with a long showerhead sprayer.

Garden Club members said the new container will be helpful in keeping everything sufficiently watered – which is a good thing, too, because the club has 40 new pots they will be debuting soon on downtown street corners.

The club expressed its thanks to the water department for water tank.
