Vina man dies in motorcycle crash
A two-vehicle crash May 22, claimed the life of a Vina man.
According to a report from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Robby Eugene Davidson, 45, of Vina was seriously injured when the 2003 Yamaha Road Star motorcycle he was driving collided with a 2003 Dodge Neon driven by John Michael McGee, 49, of Red Bay.
Davidson was flown to Northeast Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Miss., where he was pronounced dead. McGee was not injured.
The crash occurred at 4:55 p.m. on Alabama Highway 19, at the 27 mile marker, inside the city limits of Vina.
Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
According to Davidson’s obituary, he was born in Russellville and was a member of the Hodges Church of Christ. He was the owner and operator of Davidson Grocery in Vina.
