Ophelia May White, 82, died Monday, Feb. 13, 2012, at her residence. She was a native of Itawamba County, Miss., and a homemaker.

Funeral services were Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, with Bro. David Humphres and Bro. Ron Humphres officiating. Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Golden, Miss.

Survivors are five sons, Kenneth Eugene White, Freddie Junior White, Leland White, Jessie Ray White and Terry White; five daughters, Kathern White Overton (L.D.), Jewel Dean White, Evonne White McCarley (Danny), Ivy Nell White Pitts (Eugene) and Tina Michelle Morris; two sisters, Maxine Vasser and Joyce Kemp; daughter-in-law, Teresa White; 27 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Reggie Junior White, her parents, William Kemp and Verda May Jones Kemp; two sons, Dwight White and Joseph Lee White and a daughter-in-law, Barbara Gail White.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
