Buddy Crane, age 61, of Haleyville, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2005, at ECM Hospital.

Mr. Crane was a carpenter and a member of Cherry Hill Church of God. He was preceded in death by his father, Odell H. Crane; his wife, Jeffie Mae Crane; and a sister, Edith Darlene Crane.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 4, 2005, at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville with Billy Brasher and Mickey Crane officiating. Interment was in Grassy Cemetery.
Mr. Crane is survived by his mother, Edith Beatrice Crane of Haleyville; three children, Myra McDougal of Spruce Pine, Michael Crane of Rogersville, and Ashley Crane of Minor Hill, Tennessee; two step-children, Lisa Clark of Trinity and Kim Barnett of Florence; a sister, Nona Mae Edwards of Bear Creek; three brothers, James Crane of Double Springs, and Dennis Crane and David Crane, both of Haleyville; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Pinkard Funeral Home assisted the family.
Louise McCollum, age 81, of Russellville, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2005.
Mrs. McCollum was preceded in death by her husband, John "Jug" McCollum; a son, Pat McCollum; and nine brothers and sisters.
Graveside funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 5, 2005, at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South, with Phillip Maeger officiating.
Mrs. McCollum is survived by a son, Mike McCollum and wife Joan, of Decatur; a daughter, Linda Mayo and husband Mike, of Southside; three grandchildren, Wally Mayo and wife Brandy, of Gadsden, Andrea Maeger and husband Phillip, of Southside, and Miranda Massey and husband Dan, of Denver, Colorado; and four great-grandchildren, Michael and Autumn Mayo, and Alexandra and Christina Maeger.
Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home assisted the family.
Bobby Joe McDonald, age 53, of Haleyville, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2005, at ECM Hospital.
Mr. McDonald was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Velma McDonald; and a brother, Roger McDonald.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 7, 2005, at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville with Billy Brasher officiating. Interment was in Frost Cemetery.
Mr. McDonald is survived by his wife, Ethel McDonald; two step-children, Shelia Sewell and Jeffrey Martin, both of Haleyville; two sisters, Carolyn Sue Tyler of Walton, Indiana, and Judy Carol Dishner of Haleyville; four brothers, L.D. McDonald of Haleyville, W.T. McDonald of Haleyville, Gary C. McDonald of Haleyville, and Benny Lynn McDonald of Indiana; and two step-grandchildren, Amy Martin and Sheena Sewell.
Pinkard Funeral Home assisted the family.
Clayton Floyd Oliver, age 84, of Phil Campbell, passed away Monday, April 4, 2005, at Russellville Hospital. Mr. Oliver was a retired dairy farmer and a member of Orange Baptist Church. He served in the Army during World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Walter and Cordelia Oliver; his wife, Flora Mae Oliver; and seven brothers and sisters.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, April 6, 2005, at Orange Baptist Church with Jerry Hester and Frank West officiating. Interment was in the adjoining church cemetery.
Mr. Oliver is survived by a brother, Forrest Oliver of Haleyville; six sisters, Gaynell Dover of Winder, Georgia, Ozella Burnette of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Margie Camp of Chamblee, Georgia, Vera Woodall of Auburn, Georgia, Elvin Frost of Loganville, Georgia, and Grace Williams of Decatur; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Pinkard Funeral Home of Haleyville assisted the family.
