Lady Tigers improve to 4-0

Lauren Tucker had 12 points on Tuesday to lead a balanced scoring attack for Red Bay as the Lady Tigers remained undefeated with a 57-37 victory over Belgreen.
Elizabeth Entrekin added 10 points for Red Bay (4-0). Mallory Garrison had nine, and Alyssa Horton and Chelsea McWilliams each finished with seven.
Amanda Hester and Mary Stutts each had 10 points to lead Belgreen.
In other local action on Tuesday:
Phil Campbell 56 Colbert Heights 29
Tanna Benford had 16 points on seven-of-eight shooting from the field to lead the Lady Bobcats to an area win.
Benford also had eight steals for Phil Campbell (4-4, 3-1 Class 2A, Area 16).
Erin Gilbert and Katie Jackson each added eight points for the Lady Bobcats, and Allison White had six.
Red Bay 64 Belgreen 57
Kurt Kennedy had 21 points as Red Bay improved to 2-0 with a victory over county and area rival Belgreen.
Brandon Colburn added 13 points for the Tigers, and Randy Lowery had 11.
Cody Rikard led all scorers with 24 points for Belgreen. Avis Smith added 11 points for the Bulldogs, and Josh Smith had eight.
Phil Campbell 63 Colbert Heights 45
Griffin Harris scored a game-high 17 points as the Bobcats improved to 3-1 in Class 2A, Area 16 play.
Eric Glasgow added 15 points and seven steals for Phil Campbell. Matt Thomas and Kyle Nix each finished with nine points.
B-Team
Phil Campbell 39 Colbert Heights 29
Riley Welborn led all scorers with 11 points as the Bobcats improved to 4-1.
