Ruth Marene Oswalt, Luella Pearl Posey, Nellie Prince

Ruth Marene Oswalt, age 77, of Russellville, passed away Thursday, December 2, 2004, at Terrace Manor Nursing Home.
Mrs. Oswalt was a native of Fulton, Mississippi, but lived most of her life in Franklin County. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Oswalt.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, December 3, 2004, at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel with Ricky Watt officiating. Interment was in Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
Mrs. Oswalt is survived by two sons, Larry Oswalt and wife Patsy, of Russellville, and Billy Oswalt and wife Nancy, of Mt. Hope; five grandchildren, Chris Oswalt, Tina Bolton, Lisa Prince, John Oswalt, and Travis Oswalt; and four great-grandchildren, Tyrel Bolton, McKenzie Oswalt, Sierra Prince and Autumn Prince.
Pinkard Funeral Home assisted the family.
Luella Pearl Posey, age 93, of Russellville, passed away Thursday, December 2, 2004, at Burns Nursing Home.
Mrs. Posey was a native of Birmingham but had made her home in Russellville for the past three years. She was a member of Tharptown Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin Posey; a still born baby Posey; and Ray Posey.
Graveside funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 4, 2004, at Midway Cemetery in Birmingham.
Mrs. Posey is survived by a grandson, Scott Thomas and wife Tammy; and three great-grandchildren, Janna Shirey, Tristin Thomas and Kayla Shae Thomas, all of Russellville.
Pinkard Funeral Home assisted the family.
Nellie Prince, age 79, of Russellville, passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2004.
Mrs. Prince was a native of Franklin County. She was a member of Centerview Church of Christ in Russellville and was an active member of the Russellville Senior Ladies Exercise Class. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.H. and Jessie Brown.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 4, 2004, at Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Charlie Britnell, Bro. George Hutto, and Bro. Larry Prince officiating. Interment was in Franklin Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers were Phillip Prince, Hunter Prince, Tanner Prince, Blake Prince, Brock Prince and Blake Jackson. Honorary bearers were Chuck Britnell, Alan Britnell and Lynn Brown.
Mrs. Prince is survived by her husband of 60 years, Charles Edward Prince; three sons, Larry Prince and wife Jennie, Ronald Prince and wife Marqueta, and Anthony Prince and wife Jodi, all of Russellville; a brother, James Brown of Muscle Shoals; eleven grandchildren, Phillip Prince and wife Nikki, of Russellville, Hunter Prince of Naples, Florida, Lynn Ponder and husband Doug, of Gardendale, Erin Lindsey and husband Ken, of Russellville, Tanner Prince of Russellville, Nathalie Crane and husband John, of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, Blake Prince of Athens, Brock Prince of Russellville, Blake Jackson of Russellville, Megan Jackson of Russellville, and Austin Prince of Russellville; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Akins Funeral Home assisted the family.
