Dameon Baylor paced a West Lauderdale rushing attack that piled up 291 yards as the Knights rolled to a 36-0 win over Newton.
Baylor picked up 123 yards on 13 carries, and also had two catches for 62 yards and a touchdown. Caleb Dulaney added two touchdowns and 53 yards on nine carries for the Knights (5-2), who won for the fourth time in five games.
Ryan Bennett and Anthony McKinney each reeled in an interception for West Lauderdale, which recorded its second shutout of the season.
The loss was the third straight for Newton (1-6), which trailed 14-0 in the first quarter after Austin Davis' one-yard touchdown run and Davis' 48-yard touchdown pass to Baylor.
The Knights added another score in the second quarter on a six-yard touchdown run by Scott Truesdale for a 21-0 halftime lead.
Dulaney scored both of his touchdowns in the second half on an 11-yard run in the third quarter and a three-yard run in the fourth.
West Lauderdale hosts Forest on Friday. Newton will travel to Williams-Sullivan.

Sebastopol 6
Union jumped out to a 45-0 lead in the third quarter and was never in danger of losing its unbeaten record on Friday in a 52-6 win over Sebastopol.
The Yellowjackets (7-0) got 118 rushing yards and a touchdown from Anthony Johnson, who scored in the second quarter on a 65-yard run.
Union got touchdowns from eight different players, including Derrick Holliday, who returned an interception 30 yards in the third quarter and scored on a six-yard run in the fourth quarter. The Yellowjackets' special teams unit also scored on an 83-yard kickoff return to open the second half.
The only scoring for Sebastopol (0-6) came late in the third quarter on a three-yard touchdown run by Cedric Pace.
Union will host Thomastown on Friday.

South Choctaw Academy overcame a slow start against Jackson Academy on Friday to take a 24-14 win.
Josh Adams scored two touchdowns during a decisive second quarter for South Choctaw Academy, getting into the end zone on runs of four yards and one yard. Justin Mason also scored during the second quarter on a 22-yard run.
South Choctaw led 18-7 at halftime.
Jackson trimmed South Choctaw's advantage to 18-14 in the third quarter, but SCA put the game away in the fourth quarter when Justin Turner recovered a fumble in the end zone for a 24-14 lead.
South Choctaw visits Pickens Academy on Friday.

Lake 14
Philadelphia poured on 56 points all in the first half as the Tornadoes rolled to a 56-14 win over Lake.
Tuntdrick Burnside ran for more than 100 yards and three touchdowns for Philadelphia, which also got two touchdowns apiece from Talmer Burnside and Dustin Crockett.
Crockett also eclipsed the 100-yard mark for Philadelphia.
Lake scored two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to avoid a shutout. Maurice Pinkston put the Hornets on the board with a 78-yard touchdown run, and Lorenzo Pace followed with a one-yard touchdown run.

Ridgeland 41
Neshoba Central 38
Two otherwise dormant offenses awoke after the end of regulation as Ridgeland edged Neshoba Central 41-38 in five overtimes.
After a 63-yard touchdown pass from Curtis Pryor to Taylor Watkins put Ridgeland on the board in the fourth quarter and sent the game into overtime, the two teams battled through five extra periods, each matching the other touchdown for touchdown.
In the fifth overtime period, Neshoba Central settled for a field goal, and Watkins' eight-yard touchdown pass to Gregory Lackey gave Ridgeland the win.

Kemper County 32
Nanih Waiya 16
Kemper County scored 32 unanswered points through three quarters and held off a late charge to top Nanih Waiya 32-16.
Marcus Green produced two touchdowns in the second quarter, the first on an 11-yard run and the other on a 25-yard pass to Cornelius Stevens. The touchdown pass gave Kemper County a 20-0 halftime lead.
After scoring two more touchdowns in the third quarter for a commanding 32-0 advantage, Nanih Waiya prevented a shutout and cut Kemper County's lead in half. Coty Vandevender recovered a Kemper County fumble and returned it 59 yards for Nanih Waiya's first score, and the score was 32-16 after Jack Edmonson's eight-yard touchdown pass from Justin Willis.

Kemper Academy 21
Central Holmes jumped out to an early lead and rolled to a 48-21 victory over Kemper Academy.
Central Holmes led 40-7 in the first half and held on for the 48-21 win in the non-division contest.
The Rams drop to 4-4 for the year and will be back in Class 5-A play next week when they travel to take on Heidelberg Academy.
