Keener, McDade

Laura Anne McDade and David Shawn Keener were married Saturday, July 17, 2004, at 2:30 p.m. at Temple Baptist Church in Hattiesburg with the Rev. Tim Horton officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Bobby McDade of DeKalb, Denise Newman of Waveland and Bob Keener of Bogalusa, La.
The bride is the granddaughter are Blanche Bryan of Scooba and the late Leo Bryan, and the late L.D. and Doris McDade of DeKalb.
The bridegroom is the grandson of Carolyn Adam and the late Clayton Adam, and Birdie Mae Ladner of Kiln and the late Earl E. Ladner.
Nuptial music was provided by Leshia Taylor, pianist; Brent and Ashley Quinn and Karly Stuart, vocalists.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a diamond white satin gown accented with crystal beaded embroidery at the waist and neckline. The A-line skirt flowed into a court-length train. Her veil of silk illusion was trimmed with crystal beading.
Ricky Adam and Karen Necaise, god-parents of the bridegroom, read scripture.
Marie Brooks of Jackson, sister of the bride, and Dana McDade, sister-in-law of the bride, were matrons of honor. Other attendants were Misty Dennis of Brandon, Britton Lewis and Audrey Savell, both of Byram, Mandy McMahan of Hattiesburg, Karly Stuart of Jacksonville, Fla., sister of the bridegroom, and Malena LaFontaine of Bay St. Louis.
Flower girls were Madison Monroe of Raymond, cousin of the bride, and Harleigh LaFontaine of Bay St. Louis.
Keith Corr and Jeff Hopgood, both of Bay St. Louis, served as best men. Groomsmen and ushers were John Favre, Stevie LaFontaine, Rod Morris, Markie Garcia and Herbie LaFontaine, all of Bay St. Louis, Kasey Keith of Jessup, Ga., Ben McDade of DeKalb, brother of the bride, Louis Dyer, Trevor Kingston and Trey Shultz, all of Bay St. Louis.
Ring bearer was Taylor LaFontaine. Carl Gibson IV, nephew of the bridegroom, served as junior groomsman.
Madalyn McMahon and Morgan McMahon of DeKalb distributed bells to ring at the close of the ceremony and rose petals to throw when the couple departed.
Program and reception attendants were Melanie Ainsworth, Beth Stuart, Melanie Herrington, Trista Keener, sister of the bridegroom, of Gulfport.
A reception was held at the Graham Building in Purvis following the ceremony.
After a honeymoon in Montego Bay, Jamaica, the couple resides in Bay St. Louis.
