    GILBERTOWN, Ala. Graveside services for Jessie Mae Sample Barber were held Thursday at 5 p.m. at Butler Cemetery. Phillips Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
    Ms. Barber, 86, of Texas, died Wednesday, March 31, 2004, in Olney, Texas.
    Survivors include her son, William H. Barber of Ft. Myers, Fla.; a daughter, Karon Alliece Barber of California; two grandsons; a sister, Barbara Lee Cole of Louisiana; and a brother, Lonnie Eugene Sample of Birmingham.
    The family requests memorials be made to the Choctaw Public Library or a favorite charity.
    Infant
    GILBERTOWN, Ala. Graveside services for Haley Elizabeth Sikes were held Friday at 2 p.m. at Barrytown Cemetery, with the Rev. Lester Pope officiating. Phillips Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
    Infant Sikes was born and died on Wednesday, March 31, 2004, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
    Survivors include her parents, Terry "T.J." and Carolyn Sikes; her grandparents, Terry and Sue Sikes, all of Branch, and Joe and Carolyn Haley, both of Petal, Miss.; and a sister, Katlyn Hollins of Branch.
    Bevel Glass supervisor
    Butler, Ala. Services for Johnny Logan will be held today at 11 a.m. at Bumpers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mitchell Presley officiating. Burial will be in Womack Hill Cemetery in Gilbertown.
    Mr. Logan, 46, of Wilmer, died Thursday, April 1, 2004, in his home.
    Survivors include his wife, Mary H. Logan of Wilmer; a son, Bradley J. Logan, of Wilmer; his mother, Bertie Logan of Choctaw County; brothers, Freddy Logan and his wife, Beverly, Larry Logan and Dink Logan and his wife, Betty; sisters, Judy Bolton and her husband, Donnie, Donna Curry and her husband, Ernie, and Mae Martin and her husband, Gary, and several nieces and nephews.
    Visitation will be today from 9 a.m.-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
    UNION Services for Joy Brantley Carleton will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at Union United Methodist Church, with the Revs. Byrd Hillman, Barry Skelton, Bill Webb and Art O'Neil officiating. Burial will be in Union City Cemetery with Milling Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Ms. Carleton, 69, of Union, died Friday, April 2, 2004, in her home of pancreatic cancer. She was a member of Union United Methodist Church.
    Survivors include her husband, Harold G. Carleton of Union; four daughters, Laurie Abraham and her husband, Mike, of Madison, Claire Stewart and her husband, Martin, of Lake Junaluska, N.C., Sue Ellen Smith and her husband, Steve, of Philadelphia and Joan Hollis and her husband, Johnnie, of North Little Rock, Ark.; a son, Harold Graham Carleton Jr. of Jackson; seven grandchildren, Anna Claire Abraham, Charlie Abraham, Lane Stewart, Will Stewart, Shelby Smith, Lee Smith and Johnna Hollis; two sisters, Gay Ratcliff of Madison and Nell Brantley Brown of Montgomery, Ala.; and several nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. and Mrs. Otho M. Brantley.
    Pallbearers will be Rex Gordon Jr., Don Brantley, Neel Ferrell, Ed Ogletree, Blake Richardson and Mark Herrington.
    Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Freeman, Albert James, Jack Pizner, Paul Howle, James Crotwell and Buddy Langley.
    The family requests memorials be made to Union United Methodist Church Music Ministry, P.O. Box 316, Union, MS 39365.
    Visitation will be held today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Homemaker
    DEKALB Services for Annie Bell Cotton will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Friendship Baptist Church of Gholson with the Rev. Charles Hardy officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. E.E. McDonald Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Cotton, 92, of DeKalb, died Thursday, April 1, 2004, at Mississippi Care Center of DeKalb.
    Survivors include her sons, Therrell Cotton and his wife, Doris and Robert Cotton and his wife, Jeanett, both of Anderson, Ind.; Wendell Cotton and his wife, Julia and Travis Cotton and his wife, Doris, all of DeKalb, Bernard Cotton and his wife, Jackie, of Vicksburg; daughters, Addie White and her husband, Jerry, of Anderson and Bobby Cotton of Atlanta; 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a brother, Marshall Lovelace and his wife, Consuela, of East St. Louis, Ill.; a sister, Christian Duvall and her husband, Lehman, of Hempstead, N.Y.; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    She was preceded in death by her husband and two children.
    Visitation will be Sunday from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to the service at the church.
    Retired
    Services for Murry J. Coleman were held Friday at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Marion with the Revs. Steve Jordan and James Guy officiating. Burial was in Enterprise Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Coleman, 78, of Marion, died Tuesday, March 30, 2004, at Rush Foundation Hospital. He was a retired Civil Service Ground Support System employee and was retired from the U.S. Navy. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Marion, Lakeview Golf Course, a Shriner and a Mason.
    Survivors include his wife, Marsha Coleman of Marion; daughters, Margaret Ann Delasey and her husband, Joe, of Elizabeth, N.J., Terry Kasafirek and her husband, Allen, of Temple, Ga., Diane Coleman and Jennie Risher, both of Meridian, Debbie Crevitt and her husband, Larry, of Meridian, Heidi Guy and her husband, James, of Demopolis, Ala., and Lori Overstreet of Mobile, Ala.; sons, Gary Coleman and his wife, Ann, of Marion and John Coleman and his wife, Joann, of Stonewall; sisters, Hazel West of Aberdeen and Olga Walters of Greenwood Springs; 21 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
    Arrangements were incomplete at E.E. McDonald Funeral Home for David Chism, of Meridian, who died Friday, April 2, 2004, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
    Arrangements were incomplete at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home for Katherine Warren, 68, of Meridian, who died, Thursday, April 1, 2004, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
    Arrangements were incomplete at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home for Edward Earl Gibson, 77, of Meridian, who died, Friday, April 2, 2004, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
