DEKALB Graveside services for Frances L. Gully will be held today at 1 p.m. at New Hope Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Steve Lampkin officiating. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Gully, 86, of DeKalb, died Monday, Feb. 16, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was a retired secretary for the Home Demonstration Department. She was a lifetime resident of DeKalb, and a member of the Presbyterian church.
Survivors include her sisters, Louise Patterson of Columbia and Hazel Earline Bloodworth of Jackson and brothers, Dock Gully and Raymond Gully, both of Preston and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be her nephews.
Visitation will be today 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Truck driver
YORK, Ala. Services for Henry P. Toews will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at Southern Star Church in Geiger, Ala., with the Revs. Harold Schmidt, Don Seiler and Alan Nichols officiating. Burial will be in Souls Chapel Cemetery in Geiger. Bumpers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Toews, 76, of Gieger, died Monday, Feb. 16, 2004, in his home.
Survivors include his wife, Bernice Toews of Gieger; daughters, Ramonda Nikkel of Sedah, N.M., Bonnie Nickel of Lobelville, Tenn., Shirley Nickel of Copeland, Kan., Donna Wedel of Bloomfield, Iowa, Elberta Schmidt, Luella Dirks, and Lisa Schmidt, all of Geiger, Ala., Bonita Dirks of Emelle, Ala. and Lonnie Toews of Madrid, Neb.; 34 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; a brother, Dick Toews of Faunsdale, Ala. and sisters, Marie Isaac of Moundridge, Kan., Kathryn Penner of Steinbach, Manitoba, Canada and Helen Toews of Inman, Kan.
She was preceded in death by her grandson and two great-grandsons.
Visitation will be today 7 p.m.-8:30 p.m. at the church.

PHILADELPHIA Services for Ellie Ree Seale will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Sandtown United Methodist Church with the Revs. Jeff Switzer, John Branning and Benny Alford officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. McClain-Hays Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Seale, 82, of Philadelphia, died Monday, Feb. 16, 2004, at Neshoba County General Hospital in Philadelphia. She was born in Wister, Okla., and moved to Neshoba County early in her life. She was a member of Sandtown United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Harmon Seale of Philadelphia; daughters, Wanda Watkins and her husband, Richard, of Bruce, Phyllis Raybould and her husband, Roger, of Somerset, Ky., and Debbie Bryant and her husband, Micky, of Hattiesburg; sons, Randy Jay Seale and his wife, Pat, and Mark Seale and his wife, Joy, all of Philadelphia; 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Earsel Bender of Las Vegas and Evelyne McCardle of Gulfport; brothers, Hubbard Alford and Tom Alford, both of Philadelphia, Dezmon Alford of Madison and Austin Alford of Mobile, Ala.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

NEWTON Services for Lavada G. Parker will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Leroy Brewer officiating. Burial will be in Pine Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Parker, 87, of Newton, died Monday, Feb. 16, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She was the first person hired at The Newton Company and worked as an instructor and supervisor. She was also a salesclerk at Feldman's Department Store.
Survivors include her daughters, Lenore Ambrose and her husband, Russell, of Ocala, Fla. and Carolyn Canterbery and her husband, Ray, of Tallahassee, Fla.; a son, Freeman Parker and his wife, Diane, of Hattiesburg; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie Richard "Dock" and Realda "Nallie" Gibbs.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Betty M. Daniels will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Arkadelphia Baptist Church with the Revs. John Coch and Dr. Jimmy Williams officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Daniels, 69, of the Bailey Community, died Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2004, in her home. She was a member of Arkadelphia Baptist Church and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her husband, Perry Joe Daniels of Bailey; children, Lynn Clark and her husband, Danny, of Hampton S.C., Waymon Graham of Bailey, Cindy Frazier and her husband, Gilbert, of Collinsville; grandchildren, Timothy Clark, Lisa Clark, and Lewis Clark, all of Hampton, S.C., Laura Graham, Brooke Graham and Waymon Graham Jr., all of Chattanooga, Tenn., Phillip Frazier and his wife, Teri, of Clarkdale and Amy Frazier of Collinsville; several great-grandchildren; mother, Olene Bearden and a sister Elizabeth Castle, both of Savannah, Ga.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Samples and a brother, Rickey Samples.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-8 p.m. and Thursday 30 minutes prior to the service at the church.
