Annual Heart Check held this week

Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center is sponsoring its 8th Annual Heart Check this week.
The event will be today, Wednesday and Thursday from 7 a.m.-10 a.m. in the Jeff Anderson Health and Fitness Center Auditorium.
The heart check includes free blood pressure, cholesterol and weight screenings. To make an appointment, call 553-6876. Participants are encouraged to fast about 10-12 hours prior to testing.
Refreshments will be served and heart educational literature will be available. Last year, more than 1,000 area residents participated in the event.
