ARLINGTON, Texas Services for Jeannette Hale Hill will be held Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel in Meridian. Burial will be in York Cemetery in York, Ala.
Mrs. Hill, 73, of Arlington, formerly of Meridian, died Monday, Feb. 2, 2004, at Arlington Memorial Hospital in Arlington.
Mrs. Hill was born May 19, 1930 in Meridian Miss. She graduated Meridian High School and attended Meridian Junior College. Married to John A. Hill, Jr. on Nov. 29, 1958. She had a varied career as a title clerk, bank teller, and bookkeeper, before retiring from the Trinity River Authority. An avid bowler, she participated in several statewide bowling tournaments with an average of 165-170.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, John A. Hill, Jr.; a son, John M. Hill; sisters, Maurice Askew and Annie Ruth Buck; a grandson, Sean C. Hill.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Hale and Annie Lena Bennett Hale: sister, Leatrice Woods: brothers, James, Aubrey, and Eugene Hale.
Visitation will be Tuesday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

PHILADELPHIA Services for Vaughn Marsden will held Monday at 1 p.m. at McClain-Hayes Funeral Service chapel with the Rev. John Branning officiating. Burial will be in Coy Methodist Cemetery in Neshoba County.
Mr. Marsden, 66, of Philadelphia, died Friday, Feb. 6, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was retired from the Department of Defense Auditor Department.
Survivors include his wife, Joan Marsden of Philadelphia; a daughter, Sue Moseley of Rock Island, Ill.; sons, Vaughn Allen of Louisiana; Scott of Davenport, Iowa, Todd of Erie, Ill. and Greg of Port Byron, Ill.; a step-daughter, Laurie Powell of Fort Lauderdale; 11 grandchildren; one step-grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Monday two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.

JACKSON Services for Mary Ellen Fassett will be held at a later date in Yerington Cemetery in Yerington, Nev. Mark Seepe Funeral Home and Crematorium is in charge of local arrangements.
Mrs. Fassett, 94, of Chunky, died Thursday, Feb. 5, 2004 at Rush Hospital. She was a native of Broughton, Ill., where she was educated and worshiped in the Baptist Church. She lived with her daughter.
Survivors include her daughter Carol Sue Embry of Chunky, Jean Hubele of O'Fallon, Ill.; a son, Bill Hubele of Yerington, Nev.; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
