    Graveside services for R. Lamar Severance Jr. will be held Friday at 4 p.m. at Magnolia Cemetery with the Rev. M.L. Agnew officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Severance, 78, of Meridian, died Wednesday, March 26, 2003, at Beverly Healthcare-Broadmoor. He was a retired plumbing and heating contractor with Irby Plumbing Co. He was a member of First Baptist Church, a 32nd degree Mason and a former member of the Scottish Rite and Hamasa Shrine Band.
    Survivors include his daughter, Patty Severance Agnew and her husband, M.L., of Shreveport, La.; a son Ralph Severance III of Meridian; granddaughters, Melissa Agnew Barrett and Leigh Agnew Clyde, both of Tyler, Texas, Stephanie Severance Rutland of Brandon, Kim Severance Brent of Meridian and Amy Severance of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; a niece, Cathy Irby of Meridian; and four great-granddaughters.
    He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Lamar Severance; mother, Eunice White Severance; and a sister, Eunice Severance Irby.
    Visitation will be Friday 2 p.m.-3:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Services for Emma Lee Marshall Miller will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kevin Carter officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery. Latimer Metropolitan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Miller, 70, of Meridian, died Tuesday, March 25, 2003, at Riley Hospital.
    Survivors include her sons, Edward Miller and Earnest Miller, both of Meridian, Charles Miller of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Hubert Miller of Decatur; daughters, Mary Miller and Alisha Miller, both of Meridian; a special niece, Emma McCurdy of Forest; sisters, Anna Jean Bullock of Fresno, Calif., and Willie Mae Alford of Meridian; a brother, Eunice Marshall of Fresno, Calif.; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
    Visitation will be Friday 7 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Services for Irene Martin will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Arthur Davis officiating. Burial will be in Meridian Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
    Mrs. Martin, 72, of Meridian, died Saturday, March 22, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
    Survivors include her daughters, Barbara Thomas of Birmingham, Ala., Carolyn Dancy and Derri Ann Martin, both of Meridian; sons, Douglas Martin and Michael Martin, both of Meridian, and Edward Lee Martin Jr. of Las Vegas; and a brother, Ambrose Jones of St. Louis.
    Visitation will be Friday 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
    QUITMAN Services for John "J.W." Treadwell will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Willie Jefferson officiating. Burial will be in Musgrove Cemetery.
    Mr. Treadwell, 73, of Stonewall, died Monday, March 24, 2003, in his home.
    Survivors include his nieces, nephews and cousins.
    Visitation will be Friday 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Services for LaFrance Chandler will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Mt. Saints Baptist Church with the Rev. Willie Ray Clark officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery in Lauderdale. Berry and Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Chandler, 29, of Meridian, died Saturday, March 22, 2003, at Riley Hospital.
    Survivors include his wife, Verusha Chandler of Meridian; daughters, Vermondia Jones, La D'ashia Simmons, Andria Jones, Brittany Jones, and Cassandra Jones, all of Meridian; sisters, Ruby McCray and her husband, James, and Sharon Chandler, all of Meridian; brothers, Tommie Dove and his wife, Lucy, Richard Chandler, Ronnie Chandler and Danny Chandler, all of Meridian, and Daryl Heidelberg of Atlanta; his grandmother, Beatrice Ott of Meridian; a great-aunt, Burlina Jones of Toomsuba; and his mother-in-law, Sandra Jones Jackson and her husband, Luther, of Meridian.
    Visitation will be Friday 7 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Services for Joshua S. Pearce will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Good Hope United Methodist Church in Russell with the Rev. E. Sanders officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Berry and Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Joshua, 15, of Meridian, died Tuesday, March 25, 2003, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
    Survivors include his mother, Angeles Ballou of Meridian; his father, Terry Ballou of Lake Charles, La.; his father, Edward Pearce Sr. of Meridian; step-father, Charles Johnson Jr. of Meridian; brothers, La Chris Russell, Edward Pearce Jr., T.J. Ballou, A.J. Ballou and Nicholas Ballou, all of Meridian; a step-brother, Na Hkoma Doyle of Korea; and his maternal grandparents.
    Visitation will be Saturday 5 p.m.-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Arrangements were incomplete at James F. Webb Funeral Home of Newton for Frances F. McBeath, 79, of Newton, who died Wednesday, March 26, 2003, at Bedford Care of Newton.
