Dalewood search efforts continue for Atlanta man

The search for a 23-year-old Atlanta man missing after the collision of two jet skis at Dalewood Lake on Friday was suspended late Saturday night and authorities said dragging operations are expected to resume today.
Authorities had been dragging the lake all day for the body of Bobby Miles, but the search turned up nothing. Miles, who was visiting family in the Dalewood community over the Fourth of July, is feared to have died after a mishap on the lake Friday evening.
Miles and a juvenile, both riding personal water crafts, reportedly collided on the lake at about 6:30 p.m. Friday. Maj. Ward Calhoun of the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department said the juvenile, a 16-year-old male, was slightly injured. The juvenile reportedly is not related to Miles.
Officers with the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks, the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department and the Lauderdale County Emergency Management Agency have been conducting the search for Miles in about 16 feet of water near one of the boat landings at the lake.
