BUTLER, Ala. Services for Carrie Mae Radcliffe were held Thursday at Bumpers Funeral Home Chapel with Sister Mae Jewel Moore officiating. Burial was in Brightwater Cemetery.
Mrs. Radcliffe, of Meridian, formerly of York, died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2002, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include six sons, John Radcliffe of Citronelle, Ala., Raymond Radcliffe of Kokoma, Ind., Tom Radcliffe Jr. of Lauderdale, James Earl Radcliffe of Meridian, Richard Radcliffe of Frankfurt, Ind., and Bobby Radcliffe of Vossburg; a daughter, Mary Ellen Bolnoff of Irvington, Ala.; a sister, Hazel Turner of Butler; a brother, Barney Turner of Citronelle; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
WAYLAND LAMAR HUDSON

Graveside services for Wayland Lamar "Tiger" Hudson will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Jones Chapel Church of God with the Revs. Earl T. Whealley and David Bowen officiating. Burial will be in the church's cemetery with Stephens Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hudson, 82, of Meridian died Monday, Jan. 1, 2002 at Riley Hospital. He drove a truck for R.B.F and was a member of North Park Church. He was also a member of Willing Ambassadors, Sunday School Class, the V.F.W., the Teamsters T.I.S.B.B. and North Park Men's Brotherhood.
Survivors include his wife, Reva B. Hudson of Meridian; his daughter, Rebecca H. Albin and her husband, Roger, of Dallas; two grandsons, Lincoln Hudson and his wife, April, of Fredricksberg, Va.; and Eric Hudson of San Antonio, Texas; his three great-grandchildren, Noah John Hudson of San Antonio; and Isabelle and Nathonial Hudson of Fredricksburg; two sisters, Sylvia Smiley and her husband, Robert, of Forest; and Carol Hudson Jones of Temecula, Calif.; and special friends, G.W. Herrington, Bill Faeber and Grady Carpenter.
He was preceded in death by his son, Johnny Lamar Hudson; his parents, Wayland H. and Florence Hudson; and his brothers, Wendell and Ray Hudson.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
DEWEY LEE SHACK
Services for Dewey Lee Shack will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. John Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Clark's Memorial Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Shack, 82, of Meridian, died Monday, Dec. 31, 2001 at Rush Foundation Hospital. He was a retired army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Alice Shack, and three sons, Dewey Shack Jr., Ronnie Shack, Ernest Pippens and his wife, Yolanda, all of Meridian; two daughters, Judy Wimberly and her husband, Wiley, of California; and Barbara Ann Lawrence and her husband, Williams, of Fla.; 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m. – 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
KENNETH W. POOL
Services for Kenneth W. Pool will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Jason Gross and Jack O. Giles officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in Martin.
Mr. Pool, 67, of Suqualena died Thursday, Jan. 3, 2002 at his home. He was retired from the U.S. Navy after 20 years of service where he served in the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War. Mr. Pool was also a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Eula Rae Pool of Suqualena; his daughter, Cynthia J. Lambert and her husband, Tim, of New Orleans; his son, Ronnie Pool of Laurel; two grandchildren, Kathy and Jay Lambert, both of New Orleans; and two sisters, Dorothy Byers and her husband, Chuck, of Hope, Ark.; and Ouida Perkins and her husband, Charles, of Lauderdale.
He was preceded in death by his parents, G.D. Pool and Lois Pool and his sister, Billy Jean McElwain.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
MARVIN LINTON

Services for Marvin "Rudy" Linton will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Sanders officiating. Burial will be in Jenkins Cemetery.
Mr. Linton, 61, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2002, at Heartfelt Hospice. He was a member of Spring Hill Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Linton of Meridian; daughters, Cathy Jenkins and her husband, Tony, of Quitman, Betty Carol Linton of Meridian and Connie Lunsford and her husband, Bud, of Richmond, Ky.; a stepdaughter, Mary Cullum of Meridian; stepsons, Bill Cullum of Mobile, Ala., and Jeff Cullum of Meridian; sisters, Florance Collier and her husband, Bill, Retha Chatham, Majory McElroy and her husband, C.W. "Mac," all of Meridian; his former wife, Ouida Linton of Meridian; 12 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Ruth Linton; and brothers, Travis and Martin Linton.
Pallbearers will be Thomas Alsobrooks, Randy Linton, Greg Chatham, Mike Linton, Johnny Cumberland and Ray McKay. Honorary pallbearer will be David Sanders.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
HAROLD J. MOSLEY
Services for Harold J. "Foot" Mosley will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Clark's Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Morris officiating. Burial will be in Blackwater Cemetery in Kemper County.
Mr. Mosley, 68, of Meridian, died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2001 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife, Bessie T. Mosley of Meridian; a son, Jimmy McMiller of DeKalb; a brother, Henry James Mosley and a sister, Kelly Ruth Mosley, both of Georgia; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
