    OBITUARIES FOR SATURDAY, OCT. 20, 2001

    MALCOLM MOORE
    Retired
    Services for Malcolm Moore were held Friday at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Collinsville Methodist Church Cemetery.
    Mr. Moore, 90, of Collinsville, died Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2001, in Meridian. He was a member of Collinsville United Methodist Church, a World War II veteran and a loving husband of 57 years.
    Survivors include his wife, Mary Lucille Moore, and a daughter, Carolyn Belvin and her husband, Donald, all of Collinsville; a son, Barry Malcolm Moore and his wife, Debbie, of Cummings, Ga.; and five grandchildren, Monica Adams of Philadelphia, Dr. Lorie Valentine of Smithville Flats, N.Y., Ashley Belvin and Scott Belvin, both of Collinsville, and Dr. Robert Moore of Jackson.
    The family requests memorials be made to the Collinsville United Methodist Church Building Fund.

    BUTLER, Ala. Services for Vivian Murphy Walker will be held today at 11 a.m. at Cullomburg Baptist Church with the Rev. Sonny Hoven officiating. Burial will be in Cullomburg Cemetery with Bumpers Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Walker, 80, of Saraland, died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2001, at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center.
    Survivors include two sisters, Virginia Schlichting of Saraland and Audrey Mason of Cullomburg.
    Visitation will be today one hour prior to the service.
    JAMES L. HARRIS
    Retired grocery clerk
    Services for James L. Harris will be held today at 11:30 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Claude Fleming and Doug Stone officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
    Mr. Harris, 81, of Meridian, died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2001, in Meridian. He was a veteran of World War II, a member of United Commercial Travels and a member of the Disabled American Veterans.
    Survivors include his wife, Annie B. Harris; two sons, Donald Ray Harris of Philadelphia and Jerry Wayne Harris of Marion; two grandchildren, Jennifer Harris and Jared Harris; and several nieces and nephews.
    The family requests memorials be made to Highland Methodist Church or a favorite charity.
    JAMES R. WELLS
    Retired from U.S. Motors in Philadelphia
    PHILADELPHIA Services for James R. Wells will be held today at 2 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Wayne Hill officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
    Mr. Wells, 74, of Philadelphia, died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2001, at Neshoba County General Hospital. He served in the U.S. Army and Navy.
    Survivors include two sisters, Rachel Wells Saxon and Ruby Stephens, two brothers, Kenneth Wells and Larry Wells, all of Philadelphia; and several nieces and nephews.
    BONNIE JEAN KIRBY
    Retired waitress for Rainbow Cafe
    NEWTON Services for Bonnie Jean Kirby will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Charles Bonner officiating. Burial will be in Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
    Mrs. Kirby, 67, of Newton, died Friday, Oct. 19, 2001, at Heartfelt Hospice in Meridian. Mrs. Kirby was born in Newton County and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.
    Survivors include a sister, Myrtle Jones of Newton; a brother, Clifton Williams of Laurel; eight nieces; two nephews and a very special friend, Charles Greer of Newton.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, Clay E. and Jurlene Horn Williams.
    Pallbearers will be Doug Jones, Jimmy Jones, Kevin Harris, Stacey Harris, Robert Pierce and Paul Holyfield.
    Visitation will be today from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
    PAUL D. PILGRIM
    Retired farmer
    PHILADELPHIA Services for Paul D. Pilgrim will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at Christian Life Apostolic Church in DeKalb. Burial will be in Spanish Oak Cemetery in DeKalb with McClain-Hays Funeral Service in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Pilgrim, 69, of DeKalb, died Friday, Oct. 19, 2001, in his home.
    Survivors include his wife, Louise Pilgrim, a daughter, Margie Pilgrim Eakes, a son, Douglas Paul Pilgrim, three brothers, John Riley Pilgrim, J.H. Pilgrim and Huby Pilgrim, all of DeKalb; and two granddaughters.
    Visitation will be today beginning at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
    CYNTHIA WEBB CAMPBELL
    Receptionist
    MACON Services for Cynthia Webb Campbell will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Cockrell Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Darren Chester officiating. Burial will be in Standing Pine Cemetery near Walnut Grove.
    Ms. Campbell, 37, of Macon, died Friday, Oct. 19, 2001, in her home.
    Survivors include her parents, Betty and Silas Gene Webb, and her grandmother, Lurline Webb, all of Walnut Grove; a daughter, Cari Campbell, and a sister, Sandra Webb Hill, both of Macon; a niece and a nephew.
    Visitation will be Sunday from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
    FRANCES MCLELLAND HARVEY
    Services for Frances McLelland Harvey will be held Monday at 3 p.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home of Gulfport is in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Harvey, 79, of Long Beach, died Friday, Oct. 19, 2001, in Long Beach. She was born in Kemper County and had been a resident of Long Beach for the past 10 years, moving from Meridian where she lived for most of her life. She was a member of Briarwood Baptist Church in Meridian.
    Survivors include a daughter, Linda Harvey Bentz of Long Beach; three sons, James E. Harvey of Diamond Head, Ronnie E. Harvey of Biloxi and Steven L. Harvey of Long Beach; a brother, Lee Merritt McLelland of Jackson; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. "Bob" Harvey; and a son, Robert Lowery.
    The family requests memorials be made to hospice at Memorial Hospital at Gulfport, P.O. Box 1810, Gulfport, MS 39502.
    Visitation will be Monday beginning at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
