Six volleyball team compete for medals

Only six teams were entered in this year's State Games of Mississippi two-person volleyball event, which was held at Meridian High School Saturday.
In Division A of the Under-45 age group, Stephen Gane and Keith Haney took the gold medal honors. Scott Pellegrin and Steve Rasmussen won the silver medal, while Allen Stokes and Shane Bradford captured bronze medal honors.
Tabitha Chenault and Matt Barber took home the gold medal honors in Division B. Silver medals went to Amy Feliciano and Kimberly Dent, while Rien Gilmer and Brittany Dent won the bronze medal.
The four-person volleyball event will be held next Friday and Saturday also at Meridian High School.
