Kemp, Simkins

Dwight Kemp of Jackson and Mr. and Mrs. David Hawkins of Forest announce the engagement of their daughter, Deanna Leigh Kemp, to Russell Evingston Simkins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Festus Simkins of Jackson.
The wedding will be held Saturday, July 7, 2001, at 11 a.m. at the Chapel of the Cross Episcopal Church in Madison.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Bonnie Elam of DeSoto and the late Lee Elam; the late Mr. and Mrs. Allen Kemp of Quitman, Wydell Hawkins of Forest and the late Eber Hawkins.
A graduate of Forest High School and Mississippi College, she is employed in the office of advancement at Mississippi College in Clinton.
Mr. Simkins is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Festus Evingston Simkins of Virginia Beach, Va., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Russell of Benton.
A graduate of Woodland Hills Academy and the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy, he is a staff pharmacist with Kroger Company in Clinton.
