    OBITUARIES FOR FRIDAY, JAN. 12, 2001

    FLORINE MCLAUGHLIN CUMMINGS
    GILBERTOWN, Ala. Services for Florine McLaughlin Cummings will be held today at 11 a.m. at Springbank Baptist Church with the Rev. Tommy Campbell officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Phillip's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Cummings, 82, of Silas, died Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2001, in Meridian.
    Survivors include her husband, Herbert Cummings of Silas; a son, Herbert Cummings Jr. of Daphne; and two grandchildren.
    DOROTHY JANE HALL NEILL

    HERMITAGE, Mo. Memorial services for Dorothy Jane Hall Neill will be held today at 2 p.m. at the Pomme De Terre United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jo Hastings officiating. Hathaway/Peterman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Neill, 73, died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2001, in her home. She was born and raised in Meridian, Miss. Mrs. Neill graduated from Huntington College in Montgomery, Ala. in 1948. She became a school teacher and later changed her profession to homemaker. She married Vincent Neill in 1950. She excelled in both vocations on every level and those who relied upon her good nature, strength of character and compassion will miss her greatly. Her faith in Christianity sustained her through the entirety of her life.
    Survivors include her husband, B. Vincent Neill; three sons, Randi Neill and Jon Neill, both of Calabasas, Calif., Coby Neill of Springfield; five grandchildren, Brooke, Brett, John, Rachel and Jacob.

    Retired from U.S. Motors
    PHILADELPHIA Military Honors for T.F. Parker will be held today at 2 p.m. at Good Hope Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. McClain-Hays Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Parker, 72, of Philadelphia, died Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2001, at Montfort Jones Memorial Hospital in Kosciusko. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and received the Purple Heart.
    Survivors include his wife, Mary Parker of Philadelphia; a daughter, Lisa Wilkerson of Jackson; two sons, Tony Parker of Philadelphia and the Rev. Tim Parker of McComb; two sisters, Mildred McCallum of Meridian and Mary Burt of Toomsuba; five brothers, Paul Parker, Bobby Parker and Billy Parker, all of Union, David Parker and Jimmy Parker, both of Philadelphia; and four grandchildren.
    BONNIE JEAN REID
    UNION Services for Bonnie Jean Reid will be held today at 2 p.m. at Evans Tabernacle Church of God with the Revs. Edward Dickerson and Steve Robinson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Stephens Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Ms. Reid, 56, of Union, died Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2001, in her home.
    Survivors include three sisters, Martha Powell of Meridian, Linda Leach of Neshoba and Brenda Fredrick of Union; and a brother, James Reid of Union.
    She was preceded in death by her father, Isaac Lewis Reid; her mother, Martha Beatrice Wilkerson Reid; and a sister, Julia Ann Reid.
    Pallbearers will be Jake Rigdon, Douglas Mayes, Bent Mayes, Mack Leach, Truman Brashear and Curtis Pugh.
    Visitation will be held today from 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
    CLINNIE MAE CULBERSON HARDY

    FOREST Services for Clinnie Mae Culberson Hardy will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Tucker. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Ott and Lee Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Hardy, 87, of Morton, died Thursday, Jan. 11, 2001, at Scott Regional Hospital. She was a native of Neshoba County and had been a resident of Forest since 1952.
    Survivors include a daughter, Faye Park and a son-in-law, John Park, both of Forest; nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, John Albert Park.
    The family request memorials be made to St. Michael's Catholic Church, Attention: Father Richard Smith, P.O. Box 288, Forest, MS 39074.
    Visitation will be held today from 5-8 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home in Philadelphia.
    FRED DAVIS RIGDON
    Construction worker
    MACON Services for Fred Davis "David" Rigdon will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church with the Revs. Tim Horton and Randy Rigdon officiating. Burial will be in Oddfellows Cemetery with Cockrell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Rigdon, 49, of Macon, died Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2001, in his home.
    Survivors include his mother, Delsie Rigdon of Macon; his wife, Annette D. Rigdon of Eddiston; a daughter, Laura Ann Rigdon of Macon; two sons, Davis "Muff" Rigdon of Scooba and Fred Davis "Freddie" Rigdon of Macon; three sisters, Elizabeth Ann Watkins of Macon, Tommie Jean Morton and Alice Mae Skipper, both of Shuqualak; two brothers, Walter Leroy Rigdon of Macon and Bob Mack Rigdon of Meridian.
    He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Rigdon and a sister, Peggy Faye Parker.
    The family requests memorials be made to the Gideon Bible program.
    Visitation will be today from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
