Free pet wellness clinic coming to Franklin County

RUSSELLVILLE — Franklin County pet owners can receive free pet food, vaccines and wellness services Thursday as part of Monte’s 10 County Challenge.

The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Tractor Supply Company, 1400 U.S. 43 in Russellville. The event is limited to Franklin County residents.

Monte’s Wellness Clinic, a Greater Huntsville Humane Society program, will offer free dog and cat food, wellness exams, rabies, DHPP and FVRCP vaccines, as well as spay and neuter vouchers.

Services and supplies will be available while they last. The clinic serves low-income and underserved communities and aims to help families keep their pets by providing access to food and preventive veterinary care.
