Ervin Edmond Stancil, 86, of Spruce Pine, passed away May 1. There was no visitation. A graveside service took place May 3 at 2 p.m. at Shady Grove Cemetery in Phil Campbell. 
 

Patricia Jones Hudson
April 29, 2026 

Patricia Jones Hudson, 83, of Spruce Pine, passed away April 29. Visitation took place at Spry Memorial Chapel May 2 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. with the service immediately following. Burial was in Franklin Memory Gardens.  

Alfreda Pearl Thorn
April 29, 2026 

Alfreda Pearl Thorn, 86, of Phil Campbell, passed away April 29. Visitation took place May 5 from noon to 1 p.m.  at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral took place immediately following. Burial was in Pleasant Site Cemetery in Red Bay.

April 27, 2026 

Leonard Norman King, 90, of Russellville, passed away April 27. Visitation took place at Spry Memorial Chapel April 30 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. with the funeral immediately following. Burial was in Tharptown Cemetery. 

Bennie Lee Galbreath
April 24, 2026 

Bennie Lee Galbreath, 74, of Russellville, passed away April 24. The funeral took place at Spry Memorial Chapel on April 28 at 2 p.m. Burial was in Frost Chapel Cemetery. 

William Irvin Young Jr.
April 24, 2026 

William Irvin Young Jr, 76, of Russellville passed away April 24. The family will hold a memorial service.

April 17, 2026 

Ronald Allen Gibson, 68, of Belgreen, passed away April 17. A family graveside service took place April 20 at Piney Grove Cemetery. 

Tamela Wilson Massey
April 14, 2026 

Tamela Wilson Massey, 64, of Russellville, passed away April 14. The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
