Carolyn Regina Borden Newell, 76, of Phil Campbell, passed away May 30. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. 

 

Doris Okerblom 

May 29, 2025 

Doris Okerblom, 84, of Russellville, passed away May 29. Visitation was held June 6 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral took place June 7 at 11 a.m. at Spry Memorial Chapel. Burial was in Dempsey Cemetery. 

 

Rebecca Lucille (Pounders) Sharitt 

May 21, 2025 

Rebecca Lucille (Pounders) Sharitt, 66, of Phil Campbell, passed away May 21. Visitation was held May 24 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville. The funeral service immediately followed at 3 p.m. Burial was in KP Cemetery in Russellville.
