Phil Campbell softball wins 3 of 5 contests

The Phil Campbell Bobcats softball team had a highly successful week, securing three decisive victories over Sheffield, Haleyville and Decatur Heritage. The Bobcats showcased a potent combination of offensive firepower and solid pitching.

Against Sheffield, Phil Campbell dominated with a 15-0 victory, capitalizing on seven Sheffield errors. Despite only recording four hits, the Bobcats managed to score 15 runs.

Bella Welch contributed a double, and several players scored multiple runs, including Lily Stewart (3), Mia Ambrosio, Sidda Rogers, Georgia Motes, Chaley Bullington and Madison Baker (two each).

The Bobcats continued their winning streak with a 10-0 shutout of Haleyville. Again, they maximized their opportunities, scoring 10 runs on just five hits. Addi James and Kadence Taylor each hit doubles. Rogers scored two runs.

James delivered a stellar performance on the mound, pitching a complete- game shutout and striking out five.

In a closer contest against Decatur Heritage, Phil Campbell secured a 4-3 victory. The Bobcats scored four runs on six hits with Ambrosio and Shiloh Madden each hitting doubles. Madden also scored two runs.

Phil Campbell lost to Wilson 10-0 going hitless and lost to Belgreen 5-1.
