Phil Campbell claws past Tremont

The Phil Campbell Bobcats secured a 9-5 victory over Tremont, fueled by a potent offensive display.

The Bobcats’ bats came alive in a three-run surge in the third inning and a decisive five-run outburst in the fifth.

Addi James led the charge, delivering two crucial hits and driving in three runs. Chaley Bullington contributed a triple and a single, while Katelin Hester added another triple to the Bobcats’ extra-base hit tally. Mia Ambrosio also recorded a triple and a RBI. Shiloh Madden scored two runs.

In addition to her offensive contributions, James delivered a strong performance in the pitcher’s circle. She pitched a complete seven innings, striking out seven batters while allowing five runs on five hits.

Phil Campbell 7, Cherokee 3 The Bobcats defeated the Cherokee Indians 7-3, powered by a decisive mid-game surge. The Bobcats secured their victory with a fourrun third inning before adding three more runs in the fourth, building a lead the Indians couldn’t overcome.

Kadence Taylor played a key role in the Bobcats’ offense, hitting a double and scoring two runs. James contributed a RBI single, while Ambrosio also crossed the plate twice, showcasing the team’s balanced offensive effort.

James also took to the mound for the Bobcats, pitching four solid innings. She allowed three runs on just two hits and struck out five, effectively limiting the Indians’ offensive opportunities.

Phil Campbell 15, Sheffield 1 Phil Campbell took advantage of some sloppy pitching by the Sheffield Bulldogs to win easily, 15-1. Sheffield walked 13 Bobcats leading to a carousel of base runners.

The Bobcats got doubles from Taylor and Mackenize Kratz. Kratz also scored two runs. Hester also scored twice, and Georgia Motes scored three times.

Lindsey Lane 8, Phil Campbell 4 Phil Campbell got multiple hits from Ambrosio, Madden and Taylor in an 8-4 loss to Lindsey Lane.
