Belgreen, Tharptown pick up wins

Tharptown 11, Phil Campbell 4

The Tharptown Wildcats broke a 3-3 tie in the bottom of the fifth inning to beat Phil Campbell 11-4.

Tharptown scored three in the fifth and four in the sixth to break the game open.

Alyssa Fischer picked up the win in the circle.

Allie Gann had two hits, two RBI and scored twice to lead the Wildcats at the plate. Lexi Little had two hits, two RBI and scored a run. Ashton Tharp and Karrah Nichols scored two runs each.

For Phil Campbell, Shiloh Madden had two hits and scored twice. Mia Ambrosio had three hits and Kadence Taylor had two hits.

Belgreen 10, Hackleburg 4

The Belgreen Bulldogs led 4-3 after three innings but broke the game open scoring six in the sixth inning.

Lily Blackburn got the win in the circle and led at the plate with a double and three RBI.

Hannah Borden had two hits, two RBI and scored twice. Caitlyn Oliver had two hits, three RBI and scored a run.

Morgan Vandiver and Bryn Scott both had two hits and scored twice. Scott’s hit was a double.
