GFWC Russellville Book Lovers Club sponsors downtown art crawl

The GFWC Russellville Book Lovers Study Club is sponsoring a new event, the Book Lovers 2024 Art Crawl, scheduled to take place in downtown Russellville from March 15 through April 11. Art will be placed in the windows of participating downtown businesses. All artists are invited to participate. Awards will be given May 9 at a time and place to be determined later.

Divisions include child, intermediate and adult. Information required to enter includes the name of the artist, contact cell phone number and indicate whether for display only or also for judging.

There will be one winner in each division and medium. One entry per medium is allowed. Mediums include painting (watercolor, oil, acrylic, mixed), drawing (pastel, graphite, pen and ink, mixed) and photography (color, black and white, mixed).

For those who want their art considered for judging, a $10 entry fee will be required. Those not interested in having their art judged can enter for free.

Artwork will be collected at Russellville First Baptist church from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
