Belgreen girls basketball topples Red Bay

The Belgreen Lady Bulldogs topped the Red Bay Lady Tigers 58-25 to take the inter-county rivalry game. 

Belgreen put the game away early, building up a 22-3 first quarter lead and extending the lead to 34-11 at halftime. The Bulldogs took a 46-19 lead into the fourth quarter. 

Dacota Green led all scorers with 22 points, including 14 in the first quarter.   

Makenna Fisher added eight points for Belgreen, Alayana Tate six points, Lilliana Willingham five points, Bryn Scott six points, Lily Green five points, Isabella Tate two points, Morgan Lauderdale two points and Mackinley Hogan two points. 

DaRilee Coluburn led Red Bay with 15 points. 

Belgreen fell to New Site, Miss., 69-44. 

Green led the Bulldogs with 17 points, followed by Fisher with 10 points. 

Scott added five points, Carson Hovater four points, Isabella Tate three points, Lauderdale three points and Willingham two points.
