RBHS, THS teams get intra-county victories

Red Bay 15, Belgreen 1

The Red Bay Tiger boys scored in every inning, leading to a 15-1 win over the Belgreen Bulldogs.

The Tigers pounded out 18 hits in the game.

Eli Farris led the way with a home run and two triples to highlight a five-hit day. He also drove in five runs and scored three times.

Farris also got the win on the mound for Red Bay.

The Tigers got doubles from Ty Reynolds and Aiden Pruitt. Reynolds also had three RBIs.

B.P. Blair had three hits and scored three times. Carson McGee had two hits and two RBIs.

Alex Guidry got Belgreen’s lone hit.

Tharptown 7, Vina 2

The Tharptown Wildcats held a 2-1 lead through 5.5 innings and broke the game open in the bottom of the fifth inning with three runs.

The Wildcats got 10 hits in the game.

Jackson Clement had three hits and an RBI. Joah Wilcoxson had two hits and an RBI, and he scored twice. Ty Engelthaler doubled, had an RBI and scored twice.
