Junior high teams prep for county tourney

The junior high division of the Franklin County basketball tournament will be held Dec. 1718 at Phil Campbell High School. The tournament had to be canceled this past year because of the pandemic.

The A-Junior girls division will be held this weekend along with the other junior high divisions. The A-Junior boys division will be held in January during the varsity tournament.

Tournament tickets must be purchased on the GoFan app or on the website GoFan.co. Tickets will be $6 on GoFan or $7 at the door. When searching for tickets, make sure to search any county school for the ticket link.

Dec. 17

Noon – B-Junior Boys: Phil Campbell vs. Vina

1:15 p.m. – B-Junior Girls: Vina vs. Belgreen

2:30 p.m. – B-Junior Boys: Tharptown vs. East Franklin

3:45 p.m. – B-Junior Girls: Red Bay vs. Phil Campbell

5 p.m. – A-Junior Girls: Tharptown vs. Phil Campbell

6:15 p.m. – B-Junior Boys: Belgreen vs. Tharptown/East Franklin

7:30 p.m. – B-Junior Boys: Red Bay vs. Phil Campbell/Vina

Dec. 18

4:30 p.m. – B-Junior Girls Finals

6 p.m. – B-Junior Boys Finals

7:30 p.m. – A-Junior Girls Finals: East Franklin vs. Tharptown/Phil Campbell
