RBHS girls shut out Vina

Sarah Eaton pitched a one-hit shutout against the Vina Red Devils last week, and Red Bay soundly beat Vina 15-0.

Red Bay scored two runs in the first and one run in the second before exploding for 12 runs in the third inning. The Tigers were efficient, scoring their 15 runs on six hits.

Annaliese Rogers, Lila Blackburn, Chloe Knoblock, Grace Pendegraph and Taneisha Colburn all scored two runs each.

Victoria Strickland, Emmie Scott, Layla Bilstein, Georgia Inman and Mckenzie Young all scored a run each.

Red Bay 3, Colbert Heights 0

Lila Blackburn shut down the Colbert Heights Wildcats last week, throwing a complete game shutout. Red Bay downed the Wildcats 3-0.

The Tigers got all three of their runs in the bottom of the third inning and relied on their pitching and defense the rest of the way.

Rogers, Eaton and Knoblock scored the three runs for Red Bay. Rogers also had a double in the game.
