Kathy Jean Beasley Bridges Emerson

Kathy Jean Beasley Bridges Emerson, 65, passed away March 2 at Russellville Hospital. She was born in Alabama to Alvie and Nellie Chambers Beasley. She was a homemaker and a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church and the Gideon Auxiliary.

Funeral services will be March 6 at 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, with Bro. Clint Holcombe, Bro. Greg Beasley, Bro. Brian Bridges and Bro. Cody Tucker officiating. Burial will be in Shottsville Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, will be in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by her husband, V. H. Emerson of Vina; son, Brian Bridges (DeAnn) of Hartselle; step-son, Mark Emerson (Cindy) of Russellville; step-daughter, Christy Franks of Muscle Shoals; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Frances Beasley, Ramona Beasley and Marie Beasley; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death her parents; her first husband, Ed Bridges; four brothers, Hubert, Frank, Gene and Dewey Beasley; and one sister, Stella Mae Beasley.

Pallbearers will be Mark Emerson, Dwayne Emerson, Cody Tucker, Braden Holcombe, Kerry Beasley, Clint Robinson and Casey Beasley.

Visitation will be March 5 from 6-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay.
