JoAnne F. Harrison
JoAnne F. Harrison, 81, of Dunwoody, Ga., formerly of Russellville, went to be with our Lord and Savior Feb. 14.
Services will be held Feb. 18 at 11 a.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel, Russellville, with burial at Franklin Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 9-11 a.m.
JoAnne was a master of many hobbies, including the following: cooking, baking, sewing, crafting and gardening, amongst others things. She had a true abundance of accomplishments and blessings in her life on this earth. She was a member of the Church of Christ and enjoyed serving our Lord.
Survivors include her son, Mike Harrison and wife Diane; granddaughters, Jennifer Denton and husband Brian and Jessica Killen and husband Tyler; great-grandchildren, Harrison Denton, Adelaide Denton and Etta Margaret Killen (due August 2017); sisters, Carolyn Peggy Pirkle and husband Tommy and Barbara Day and husband Lyle; best friend, Emogene Baker; and a host of beloved cousins, nieces, nephews and card-playing buddies.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, husband Joe W. Harrison, and parents, Aldrich and Maggie Frederick.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Cancer Society or the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation.
The joys of her life included being a wife to her valentine, a mother, a meemaw and a great-meemaw. She was loved by so many and will be greatly missed. God truly blessed her with a wonderful life.
