Marvin Hill Jr.

Marvin Hill, Jr., 81, of Russellville passed away January 16 at his residence.
Mr. Hill was born in Florence and had lived in Franklin County most of his life. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Russellville.
Visitation for Mr. Hill will be Jan. 23 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville. Services will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Officiating will be the Rev. Bonner. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Russellville.
Survivors include his wife Hazel Geneva Hill; children Leverne Hamilton, Richard Dotson, Hazel Hill, Teresa Hill, Sharon Hill, Larry Hill and Martin Hill; one brother, Wash Bates and wife Fannie Bates; a sister, Cardelia Dale and husband Jack Dale; 19 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Marvin Hill Sr. and his mother Johnnie Mae Haley. Two sons also precede him Patrick Hill and Gregory Hill.
