FCSO arrests three after home invasion

A man’s daughter, her boyfriend and another man are in the Franklin County Jail after they allegedly invaded the man’s home and assaulted him Friday.
Franklin County Sheriff’s Office investigators said Tonya Nicole Pounders, 33, Bretten Scott Ward, 32, and Joshua William Crews, 27, all of Double Springs, were arrested after allegedly shooting into the home of the elderly victim on Highway 20 in Phil Campbell. Investigators report they allegedly broke down the doors, assaulted the victim and stole his cellphones. A neighbor called 9-1-1.
Ward and Pounders were picked up in Winston County over the weekend, while Crews was recovered separately in Bear Creek Monday. All three were charged with burglary first degree, assault second degree, discharge of a firearm into an occupied building, robbery first degree and criminal mischief third degree.
The FCSO reported the homeowner victim is all right following the attack and is home.
Ward’s and Pounders’ bonds were set at $20K each. Bond had not been set for Crews as of 11 a.m. Tuesday.
