Jean McAfee

Jean McAfee, 83, of Spruce Pine, passed away Nov. 16 at Helen Keller Hospital in Sheffield.

She has been a lifelong resident of Franklin County and was a member of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Nov. 19 from 10 a.m. until noon at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville. Services will follow at noon in the chapel at the funeral home with burial at Dempsey Cemetery in Russellville. Officiating will be Dr. Scott Delashaw and Bro. Gary Yielding.

Pallbearers will include Harold McAfee, Kerry McAfee, Phillip McAfee, Jim McAfee, Daniel McAfee and Caleb Lampert.
Survivors include children, Harold and wife Sharon, Kerry and wife Karen, Ann Lampert and husband Andy, Doris Holderby and Phillip and wife Karen. She is also survived by one sister, Nila Jo Ricks, ten grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Mrs. McAfee was preceded in death by her husband Wade McAfee.

The family of Mrs. McAfee extends a special thanks to Helen Keller Hospital doctors and nurses and to Gentiva Home Health and Hospice for the compassionate and professional care of their special loved one.
