Connie Sue Payne

Connie Sue Payne, 46, passed away July 5 at her residence. She was born in Waukegan, Il., had worked at Golden Manufacturing for twenty years and had been manager of McDonald’s in Red Bay.

Graveside services were July 9 at 10 a.m. at Ridge Cemetery, Golden, Ms. with Bro. Shane Ray officiating. Burial was in Ridge Cemetery, Golden, Ms.

Survivors are two brothers – Brandon Payne, Red Bay, Al. and Harold Payne, Hackleburg, Al.; one sister – Amanda Hill, Fulton, Ms.; nieces and nephews – Richard Petree, James Payne, Brittney Hill, Dennis Hill, Kimberly Payne and Cassidy Payne; one great-nephew – Damion Hill; two aunts – Debra Harbison and Glenda Kiddy, both of Red Bay, Al. and three uncles – Denis Harbison, Waukegan, Il., Kenneth Harbison, Grayslake, Il. and Randy Payne, Golden, Ms.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard Carroll Payne and Dorothy Harbison Payne, a sister, Carolyn Petree and a brother, Bryan Payne.

Pallbearers were Debra Harbison, Glenda Kiddy, Joe Slak, Jack Hulen, Eric Goss, James Payne, Chad Hendrix and Allen Cox.

Visitation was July 8, 6-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Al.
