Elree B. Randolph

William Hilton Tirey

June 28, 2016

William Hilton Tirey, 77, Russellville, passed away June 28.

He lived his entire life in Franklin County and was a member of First Baptist Church, Russellville.  He was retired from Reynolds Metals Company.

The visitation was June 29 from 5-7 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville.  Funeral service was Thursday, 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Jerry Curry officiating.  Burial followed in Knights of Pythias Cemetery.

Survivors include children, Lisa and husband John Talley, Tuscumbia, Susan and husband Ralph Stevens, Birmingham; grandchildren, Blake Bragwell, Kyle Bragwell, Joshua Stevens, Jonathan Stevens, Adam Talley, Mathew Talley, Samantha and husband Ben Richie; great-grandchildren, Brayden and Charlie Grace; brother, Floyd and wife Betty Jo Tirey; sister, Ruth and husband Freddy Wood, Waverly, Tennessee; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by father, Floyd Tirey, Sr. and mother, Vilie Tirey.

 

James Michael Foran

James Michael Foran, age 44, Russellville (formerly of Boston, MA), passed away June 18 at his residence.

Mr. Foran enjoyed going to flea markets, camping, trips to Florida and Foxwoods and long conversations with friends about his passions like cars and his beloved Grand National.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Carol M. Foran; brothers, John J. Foran, Joseph F. Foran; sisters, Karen M. Foran, Janet M. Foran, all of Boston, MA.  Also remembered by his best friend and girlfriend, Melanie Ann Pratt- Sanders and many other close friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date by the family.

Elree B. Randolph, 85, formerly of Russellville, passed away July 2 at Elmcroft Health Care in Nashville.

Mrs. Randolph lived most of her life in Franklin County and was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church. She graduated from Hatton High School in 1949 and worked for Standard Oil Company and Alabama State Highway Department.

The family will receive friends on July 6 from 5 – 8 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville.  Funeral service will be July 7, 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Phil Kimbrough officiating.  Burial will be in Franklin Memory Gardens.

Survivors include daughter, Tina and husband Jerry Lane; grandchildren, Stephen and Thomas Lane; siblings, Yvonne Mitchell, Donnie (Wayne) Sutton, J.M. and wife Gearldean Bruton; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by husband, Grady Randolph; parents Jessie and Mary Lou Bruton.
